Currently BC has 2 types of reviews we give.
-our face offs which is pitting to local burgers against each other and choosing our favorite by majority. We will put small reviews of what members had to say with the score of each place and the declared winner.
-our monthly meets are at a burger place where we all sit down and review the burger on a 10 point system in 5 categories. The scores are averaged for each reviewer and then an average is taken from those number.
the 5 categories are:
Restaurant: the encompasses the atmosphere, service, cleanliness, menu options, bar offerings and all aspects of the dining experience.
Sides: this is for the sides and garnishes that come with or are ordered with the reviewers burger.
Bun: the bread or bun the burger comes on
Toppings: the toppings offered, the preparation, presentation and taste
Patty: everything pertaining to the patty: temperature cooked, seasoning, juiciness, size etc
therefore the highest rating would be 50 points divided by 5 for an overall score.
an example of a score card would be:
rest: 7.5, sides: 8, bun:6.7, toppings: 7, patty:7.2
total : 36.4 final score:7.28
